It’s lovely that you may want to hold a Ceremony to celebrate your little one.  As your Naming Ceremony Celebrant my aim is to work with you to create, write and deliver a Ceremony that is full of truth and joy for you and your child.

Georgia & Ollie with Max & Jaygo

We were absolutely delighted with the ceremony. It honestly way exceeded our wildest dreams/expectations as we’d never seen one before, let alone held one! We LOVED how personal it was. It made it so so moving albeit very emotional in parts! Everyone has said to us how special they found it, I think everyone left with such a warm, loving feeling.

You conducted the process from start to finish with such professionalism, warmth and care. We really felt you wanted to get to know our story and that definitely showed with how personal the whole ceremony was and how you conducted yourself throughout.

Thank you so much for making the day so magical, it’s a day we’ll never forget.

Nicki and Paul with Henry

We wanted to write and thank you so much for your support for Henry's naming ceremony and first birthday celebrations. From the start you led us through the process smoothly and made sure everything was taken care of as promised. On the day you expertly led our large gathering of family and friends through the ceremony, and so many people afterwards commented on what a fantastic job you did given the chaos that ensued with the weather and the many children running around! It was a day that meant to much to us given Henry's difficult journey through life and the service you helped us create perfectly reflected the sentiments we wanted to express. Thank you so much and we do hope our paths cross in the future.

For the Naming Ceremony for your child, we can hold a Ceremony that is just right for you. The only rule is there are no rules! However, as a guide, we can include:

·       Promises that you as a Parent - or Parents - may wish to make to your child

·       “Guideparents”: these can be friends or family who you may like to have a special place in your child’s life.  They too could make promises in the Ceremony

·       Grandparents or other relatives

·       Readings from pieces that may be special to you, to your family or friends

·       The Naming: the moment when we can formally give your child their name: the name you have chosen for them for their lives

We can have a Ceremony that is child friendly – you may have friends and family who may bring their own children – and which is FUN!

As your Celebrant I will work with you to create and deliver a Ceremony that is individual, bespoke and is just right for you.  After a discussion with you, I would write a draft script for the Ceremony and then we can iterate and edit together so that we end up with a Ceremony where every word and every moment is as you may wish it to be.

Whilst the focus of the Ceremony will be non-religious and humanist, we can welcome those who may have a religious faith with respect and allow a moment in the Ceremony when they can offer their own thoughts in prayer.
